شهادة الدبلوم في العزف على آلة العود بدرجة ممتاز”

هي لحظة من تلك اللحظات التي سعيت لها طوال سنين عديدة من التحضير والالتزام والتعب والتفكير والمغامرة والتعلّم، تكلّلت بحفلة الدبلوم العلنيّة في جامعة الروح القدس قي الكسليك يوم الأربعاء 24 أيار 2023 بحضور اللجنة المؤلفة من الأب العميد الدكتور ميلاد طربيه، الأستاذ مارسيل خليفة، الأستاذة غادة شبير، الأستاذ جوزيف روحانا وأستاذي العزيز شربل روحانا.

لا يسعني الّا أن أشكر كل أعضاء اللجنة الكريمة الذين شرفوني بحضورهم وبنصائحهم، الأستاذ مارسيل خليفة لحضوره العزيز، إدارة الجامعة وكلية الموسيقى، أهلي، رفاقي وكل من كان حاضراً معي عن بعد أو عن قرب. كل الشكر للأساتذة الموسيقيين زاد خليفة وزاهر سبعلي على مشاركتهم لي عزفاً، والى الأستاذ ربيع أبي راشد لهندسة الصوت والأمور اللوجستية والى الصديقة ميشال الخوري (Clic-Clac Productions) على التصوير.

أتذكر أيضاً في هذه اللحظة، كل أساتذة الموسيقى الذين درست معهم منذ البدايات وحتى الآن، ومنهم أول من بدأت معه مسيرتي مع آلة العود وهو الأستاذ اندره المسَنّ.

أخيراً وليس آخراً، الشكر والفضل الأكبر لأستاذي شربل روحانا، الذي رافقني خلال كل هذه الفترة وله الفضل الأكبر بوصولي الى هنا. كل الشكر لك أستاذي، على جهودك وصبرك ومحبتك وثقتك بي. قلت لي أنني سأتذكر وأشتاق الى “المشوار” الجميل الذي مررنا به ولحظات التحضير للدبلوم ولقاءاتنا المكثّفة… وهو كذلك… هي رحلة مليئة بالموسيقى والعزف والتطور التقني ولكنها أيضاً مليئة بالإنسانية والحب والايمان والفرح، وهي قيمٌ قلّة من الأساتذة يتمكنون من نقلها الى تلامذتهم. على أمل أن تطول الرحلة أكثر، الى ما بعد الحدود، الى ما بعد الأحلام..

“Oud Diploma with the highest distinction”

It is one of those moments that I aimed for throughout many years of preparation, commitment, training, thinking, adventure and learning, which culminated in the public Oud diploma ceremony at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in the presence of the committee consisting of Father Dean Dr. Miled Tarabay, Mr. Marcel Khalife, Dr. Ghada Shbeir, Mr. Joseph Rouhana and my dear teacher Mr. Charbel Rouhana.

I cannot help but thank all the members of the honorable committee who honored me with their presence and advice, Mr. Marcel Khalife for his dear presence, the administration of the university and the Faculty of Music, my family, my friends and everyone who was present with me remotely or closely. All thanks to the musicians, Zad Khalife and Zaher Sebaaly, for their participation in in the concert, and to Mr. Rabih Abi Rashed for the sound engineering and logistics, and to my friend Michèle El Khoury (Clic-Clac) for filming and photography.

I am also grateful to all the music teachers with whom I studied since the beginnings of my musical career, including the first person with whom I started studying the Oud instrument, Mr. André Msane.

Last but not least, thanks and the greatest credit goes to my teacher, Mr. Charbel Rouhana, who accompanied me during all this period and has the greatest credit for my arrival here. All thanks to you, my teacher, for your efforts, patience, love and trust in me. You told me that I would remember and miss the beautiful “journey” that we went through, the moments of preparation for the diploma, and our intense meetings… And you were right… It is a journey full of music, performance, and technical development, but it is also full of humanity, love, faith, and joy, and these are values that few professors are able to convey to their students. Hoping that the journey will be longer, beyond borders, beyond dreams…
