وسام شاب من غزة ، خريج من جامعة الأزهر. لم يجد فرصة حقيقية في العمل ، ولم تعطه غزة المساحة المطلوبة، وجعلته حبيسها مثله مثل باقي من فيها، وحاله كحال شباب غزة ، إلا انه يختلف عنهم بأنه نشيط ، أصيلٌ لا تهزمه كبوة . محباً للحياة ، ينطفئ ثم يعود كفينيق خالد . في الآونة الأخيرة كان على معبر رفح البري ، ينتظر بفارغ الصبر وبكل الدعاء أن يسافر إلى تركيا التي وجد فيها املا لم يجده في وطنهِ المحتل ، ولكن اغلاق معبر رفح – من الحصار المفروض على
غزة – لم يسمح له بذلك فعاد إلى غزة، ليجد حبيبتهِ آلاء ، شابة غزيّة تشبه وسام في كل شيء ، حتى في الشكل وطريقة
التفكير ومجريات الأحداث وما حصل معهم ، تحلم هي ايضاً بالسفر لتكمل دراستها العليا – هذا ما اتفقا عليه – ولكنها الآن قد وجدت وطنها وحياتها. لم يفكرا بالزواج من قبل، كانو على رفضٍ منه، والآن هما الأجمل في قطاع غزة ، لهما كلبٌ صغير أسمياه “جوي” – كلبٌ لطيف ، ذكي ووفي جدًا ، وسام وآلاء حبٌ لا ينتهي.
وقصة من قصص غزة تدلل على الحياة وعلى وجود الحب، على الوجه الآخر من غزة، وجهٌ لا يعرف إلا السلام ويرفض الحرب .
وسام المعروف عند المجتمع الغزي كان سيسافر فوجد نفسه عائدًا وفي إصبعه دبلةٌ وفي يدهِ الأخرى يحمل محبس .
