حيث تم اختيار الشابة الموسيقية لامار جليل الياس لقيادة أوركسترا تولوز الفرنسيِّة الشهيرة.
وجاء اختيار لامار من بين المئات من الموسيقيين العالميّين اللذين تَقدموا للمهمة.
وكانت قد بدأت عازفة الكمان الفلسطينية لامار الياس مشوارها الفَنيّ في معهد إدوارد سعيد الوطني للموسيقى/ فرع بيت لحم بعمر ٩ سنوات.
وشاركت مع اوكسترا فلسطين في عددٍ من الجولات المحليِّة والعالميِّة.
حصلت لامار خلال مشوارها الفنيّ على عدةِ جوائز فلسطينية وعالمية كان أبرزها حصولها على جائزة المسابقة الألمانية العالمية للموسيقى Jugend Musiziert لفرعها في
الشرق الأوسط.”

“The student Symphony Orchestra of Toulouse is pleased to announce the election of its new artistic director: Lamar Elias

Last Saturday, musicians and female musicians indeed got together for the final phase of recruitment, hearing of candidates & candidates, then proceeded to vote ement.
We had received many very interesting applications, and we especially thank all the candidates for their interest in OSET.

Violinist, composer and conductor, Lamar graduated from the National Conservatory of Music (Palestine), from the CRR of Toulouse (Violin DEM), and in June 2023 from the ISDAT Orchestral Conducting Class, under the sponsorship of maestro Tugan Sokhiev.

In different contexts, she has had the opportunity to conduct the National Orchestra of the Capitol, the Paris Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra OUT Toulouse, Orchestra simfonică a Filarmonicii Bra Parisov and this summer she will conduct the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra in the Czech Republic. In 2022, she is a semi-finalist of the International Orchestra Conductor Competition in Romania.
She is also a co-founder of MiraLamar Duo (a fusion of western and eastern classical music).”
