This is the last day my Norwegian friend Kristin will spend in Palestine.
We first got to know each other when she sent a request for help in answering some queries. She was nominated by an old Brazilian friend of mine who was in Hebron in the International Solidarity Movement five years ago.
Kristin arrived in Palestine to cover serious violations against Palestinians, and only two days after her training period work began.
My friend carried the meaning of solidarity to Palestine, participated in the activity near the settlement of Bani Hefer in the east of Hebron in the town of Bani Naim.
The settlers established a new settlement near the “Beni Hefer” settlement. When we arrived at the area of the settlement, within a few minutes, the area was declared a closed military zone. We were violently arrested by the occupation soldiers. There was not enough time for me to leave the area between the declaration of the area I was arrested in and the three activists who were arrested before me. I was in close contact using the camera. Everything was documented, and then my Norwegian friend Kristin was arrested.
I felt that Kristin had been arrested because she was angry at the occupation army and was arguing until she was arrested and the number of detainees then became seven.
We were released after about seven hours of detention after signing a written pledge not to be present in the West Bank area for 15 days. This is for foreign activists and Israeli activists. I and another Palestinian journalist signed a written undertaking after reaching Bani Na’I’m for also for 15 days.
Kristin was asked to leave Hebron. This was difficult to implement and Kristin was told to stay until the morning to arrange her trip to Ramallah, even though she was staying in the West Bank. However, the situation inside Ramallah is less tragic than Hebron and there is no daily friction like there is in Hebron. Her departure was arranged by a bus because she was less likely to be searched than in a car. The fear of stopping and searching the bus was the most troubling issue in the story because she was prevented from being in the West Bank.
My friend arrived in the city of Ramallah and we didn’t get the chance to meet again for some time. She then went to participate in the Kafr ‘Aqeb demonstration where she was shot with rubber bullets, and a week later she was deliberately and clearly injured by the Israeli soldiers with a rubber-coated bullet, although she was up front they knew she was not a demonstrator. .
Two weeks of arrest and injury were a deep and painful experience for Kristin and she is still recovering from the trauma.
A few days ago I went to Ramallah and met with the mother of the youngest child in the world, “Am Shadi”, in order to plan to celebrate the release of her child Shadi and met Kristin there. They talked a long time on this subject until tears came from her eyes. I took a video clip.
We left the Zryab cafe where we met and left Freihan and Shady who had joined us. After having a great time with a friend, I was joined by another friend from Estonia, and then contacted my old Canadian friend Jesse and asked her to join my friend Kristin.
Kristin’s worry has always been the fear of not being allowed to return to Palestine, and we have tried to minimize these fears so that fear does not dominate her, especially at the airport.

هذا اليوم هو اليوم الأخير لصديقتي النرويجية الناشطة كريستين
بدأنا نعرف بعضنا الأخر عندما أرسلت اللي تطلب مساعدتها في الإجابة عن بعض الإستفسارات حيث رشحتها صديقة برازلية قديمة كانت في الخليل في حركة التضامن الدولية قبل 5 سنوات .
صديقتي كريستين وصلت الى فلسطين لتقوم بتغطية الانتهاكات الخطيرة التي تتم ضد الفلسطينين , وبعد يومين فقط من بدأ عملها بعد انتهاء فترة التدريب التي كانت لمدة يومين .
صديقتي الإنسانة الكبيرة التي جاءت تحمل معاني التضامن الى فلسطين شاركت في فاعلية قرب ” مستوطنة بني حيفر” في شرق مدينة الخليل في بلدة بني نعيم .
كان المستوطنين قد أقاموا بؤرة إستطيانية جديدة قريبة من مستوطنة ” بني حيفر” , وعندما وصلنا الى مكان البؤرة الإستطيانية وبعد ذلكك بدقائق قليلة تم إعلان المنطقة منطقة عسكرية مغلة , وتم البدء بإعتقالنا بطريقة عنيفة من قبل جنود الإحتلال ولم يكون هناك فترة كافية ما بين اعلان المنطقة عسكرية وبين البدأ بالاعتقالات , وتم إعتقالي بعد إعتقال ثلاثة نشطاء قبل اعتقالي كنت اوثق بالكاميرا كل شيء ممكن توثيقه ,وبعد ذلك تم إعتقال صديقتي النرويجية كريستين .
أنا شعرت بأن كريسيتن أعتقلت بسببي لإنها شعرت بالغضب وبدأت تجادل جيش الإحتلال بغضب حتى تم إعتقالها وأصبح عدد المعتقلين بعد ذلك سبعة معتقلين .
تم الافراج عنا بعد إحتجاز لمدة سبعة ساعات تقريباً بعد توقيعنا على تعهد خطي بعدم التواجد في الضفة الغربية لمدة 15 يوماً هذا بالنسبة للنشطاء الاجانب والنشطاء الإسرائيلين .أما انا وصحفي فلسطيني اخر تم توقيعنا على تعهد خطي بعد الوصول الى منطقة بني نعيم التي يوجد فيها المستوطنة لمدة 15 يوماً.
تم الطلب من كريستين المغادرة خلال ساعتين مدينة الخليل وكان ذلك صعب التنفيذ , و طلبت من كريستين البقاء حتى الصباح لترتيب ذهابها الى مدينة رام الله بالرغم أنها من الضفة الغربية , ولكن الوضع داخل رام الله اقل مأساوية من الخليل ولا يوجد إحتكاك يومي مثل الخليل بالاحتلال , وتم ترتيب رحيلها بالسفر بواسطة باص لانه اقل عرضة للتفتيش من السيارات الصغيرة وكان الخوف من ايقاف الحافلة وتفتيشها من اكثر ما يقلق في هذه القصة بسبب منعها من التواجد في الضفة الغربية .
وصلت صديقتي الى مدينة رام الله ولم نعد نلتقي مرة اخرة ثم ذهبت للمشاركة في مظاهرة كفر عقب حتى تم إصابتها بالرصاص المطاطي المغلف , وبعد ذلك باسبوع تم إصابتها بشكل متعمد وواضح من قبل جنود الاحتلال باطلاق الرصاص المططاطي عيلها بالرغم انها كانت امامهم ويعرفون انها ليست من المتظاهرين .
اعتقال وإصابتين خلال إسبوع ونصف كان تجربة عميقة ومؤلمة عاشتها صديقتي كريستين .
قبل أيام ذهبت الى رام الله وتقابلت مع أم أصغر طفل بالعالم ” ام شادي” , وذلك بهدف وضع خطة للاحتفال بالافراج عن الطفل شادي وتحدثنا طويلا في هذا الموضوع حتى سالت الدموع من عيوني أم شادي ومن صديقة الشعب الفلسطيني الوفية لنضاله كريستين , شعرت بالحرج امام دموعهم وانا التقط لهم مقطع فيديو .
غادرنا مقهى زرياب الذي التقينا فيه وغادرت قبل ذلك فريهان ” ام شادي” وصدقائها من قبل ,وبعد قضيت وقتا ممتعاً مع كرسيستن أنضم اليه صديقة اخرى من إستونيا , وبعد ذلك بالاتصال بصديقتي القديمة الكندية جيسي وطلبت منها الانضام لتعرف على صديقتي كريسيتن وهم أصدقاء الان .
كان هاجس صديقتي كريستين دائما هو الخوف من عدم السماح لها بالعودة الى فلسطين ,و حاولنا التقليل من هذه المخاوف حتى لا يسيطر الخوف عليها وخاصة في المطار.
وداعاً صديقتي والى لقاء أخر في معارك أخرى من أجل الحرية والعدالة,,
